A prolific rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer, Aubrey Drake Graham (“Drake”) has joined Bullrider as a strategic advisor and partner.

Drake became an investor, partner, and advisor to Noah “40” Shebib, co-founder and producer of OVO. He credits Afghani Bullrider, the brand’s namesake strain, for changing the course of his life by helping him manage symptoms of multiple sclerosis related to his decades-long journey. Along with industry veterans 40, Maxim Zavet, and Lorne Greenberg, Drake became the co-owner of Bullrider, a subsidiary of Robes Inc. Multiple high-quality strains, merchandise, retail products, and premium cannabis products have become part of the brand’s offerings.

As part of the brand’s mission to bring a unique cannabis experience to North America, Drake will assist in advising and helping with a strategy with the support of 40’s tenacity and knowledge of the recreational cannabis market. Drake says he has always considered 40 to be a cannabis expert, so he is very excited to invest in, partner with, and contribute to establishing a benchmark for premium cannabis experiences.

“Bullrider embodies a deep reverence for quality cannabis, including its medicinal properties, which I’ve always been passionate about,” said 40. “I want to assist consumers in accessing the same therapeutic strains that I’ve been able to benefit from as a recreational user.”

“The essence of Bullrider lies in the convergence of street art, hip-hop, and limited-edition cannabis products,” said CEO Maxim Zavet. “I’m honoured to be a part of creating a space for Drake and 40 to continue their iconic partnership, lending their innovation and drive to sharing our products with the world.”

In October 2021, Bullrider will open its unique farm-gate flagship store in Brampton, Ontario. The store will provide a unique cannabis experience for producers and retailers alike.

Canada already has multiple weed dispensaries ready to offer you premium quality weed. You can get your hands on concentrates, sativa, indica, hybrid weed strains. You can also get edibles, home delivery and new arrival to enjoy all newly arrived marijuana products.

Celebrities Follow Up On Cannabis Ventures

Drake

Drake (aka 40) and Noah Shebib (a.k.a. 40) are currently working on a project with Bullrider, a marijuana cultivator with strains such as Afghani Bullrider, Peach Crescendo and Wedding Cake. Robes Inc. is the parent company of Bullrider.

The 40-year-old has always been the cannabis expert, so Drake says he is very excited about the prospect of partnering with Shebib and setting a new standard in the industry.

“Bullrider’s involvement with me stems from my desire to help consumers enjoy the same therapeutic and recreational advantages that I have enjoyed. Bullrider is not simply another cannabis brand, and it has a deep respect for quality cannabis and its therapeutic benefits, which I have always been passionate about.”

Drake had previously worked with Canopy Growth through his cannabis company, More Life Growth Company. Canopy Growth and Drake ended their partnership in June.

Ricky Wiliams

The Heisman Trophy is a fun brand name for the college football player of the year who won the Heisman Trophy in 1998. When the NFL was regularly suspending players for using cannabis, Ricky Williams became the first player to speak about its benefits. He paid the price for bringing attention to the issue with multiple suspensions that curtailed his career. The name of his new venture says it all: Highsman. Highsman is about an appreciation for greatness, according to the former running back. A committed team is behind the brand, and together we want to inspire greatness in everyone.

Three categories of Highsman products are available: Pregame (sativas), Halftime (hybrids), and Postgame (Indicas). It is unclear where the products are currently available. RW CBD also belongs to Williams.

Tyson 2.0

Tyson Ranch is a cannabis farm in California owned by former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson. The idea never seemed to work out. Now, Tyson is partnering with Columbia Care, an operator that spans multiple states, to launch a new line of products called Tyson 2.0. Tyson also seeks input from Adam Wilks (One Planet) and Chad Bronstein (Fyllo).

According to Columbia Care’s Chief Growth Officer, Jesse Channon, “Celebrity sponsorships are one of the most effective ways of building immediate product and brand recognition. In addition to sneakers, alcohol, and now cannabis, influencers have driven some of the most successful brands. Mike Tyson has positioned himself as a true ambassador for cannabis products. He has created a completely different and authentic experience for cannabis consumers.”

Tyson says cannabis has always played a big part in his life. Cannabis has changed him for the better mentally and physically, and he wants to share this gift with others seeking relief. Yet Tyson’s 1992 rape conviction still haunts him. His victim has never received a formal apology from him, and he still claims innocence.

Final Words

In addition to Brampton, the flagship store will deliver to nearby Mississauga, which have about 603,000 and 829,000 citizens, respectively. Since recreational marijuana was legalized, the city has refused to allow cannabis retail within its borders twice. Also, north of Toronto, Vaughan, with 323,000 residents, does not allow pot shops.

With Brampton, Bullrider Cannabis’ chairman Max Zavet will be able to grow and sell cannabis onsite. On Friday, the company announced that this weekend’s grand opening would include in-store specials, guest appearances, burgers, and live music. The 6ix can expect a company store to open in the future.

Drake and Canopy Growth Corp. announced they had mutually agreed to separate earlier this year. More Life Growth Company, owned by Drake, was to be the brand’s launch partner. When things didn’t go as planned, the partnership ended. Please stick with us for more interesting news. You can contact us for more information about cannabis, and we would be happy to assist you.
